1. Export Apple Address Book contacts to Microsoft Outlook. To export Microsoft Outlook contacts to Apple Address Book, use vCard ImportExport application. Then import resulting files to Apple Address Book. Copy vCard files to your Mac and drag them to Address Book window to import.
2. If you're connecting your Exchange/Office 365/Outlook address book from the Contacts+ for Mac app, click on Contacts+ (menu dashboard at the top of your Mac), click Preferences, then click the + icon at the bottom left corner.

To search the GAL, choose one of the following options:

• While composing a message, initiate a search by typing in the 'To:' or 'Cc:' field.
• At the end of the 'To:' field, click the address book icon to bring up the search window.

To improve results when searching the GAL, enter the last name followed by a comma, and then the first name. You can also search using an email username.

How to show a contact folder as address book in Outlook?

In Outlook, when you create a new contact folder in your Contacts Pane, this new folder will be added to the address book automatically by default. Show a contact folder as address book in Outlook

For showing a contact folder as address book in Outlook, please do as follows.

1. Shift to the Contacts or People view.

2. Select and right click the contact folder which does not show in the address book. Click Properties in the right-clicking menu. See screenshot:

3. In the Properties dialog box, you need to:

1). Click the Outlook Address Book tab;

2). Check the Show this folder as an e-mail Address Book Name of the address book box;

3). Click the OK button.
